Celeste Beauty Academy is a tuition-free North Carolina public charter school open to all eligible North Carolina students. If applications exceed available seats, CBA will conduct a public weighted lottery that provides additional opportunity for educationally disadvantaged students, consistent with state law and NC GROW requirements.

The weighted lottery (if needed)
If applications exceed available seats, every eligible applicant is entered into a random, publicly observed lottery drawing.
Complete Enrollment
Families with an offered seat confirm enrollment and complete registration paperwork ahead of Family Orientation Night.

Who can apply
Celeste Beauty Academy welcomes applications from eligible North Carolina students entering grades 9–11 for the 2027–2028 school year. If the number of eligible applications exceeds the number of available seats, admissions will be determined through a public weighted lottery in accordance with North Carolina charter school law and NC GROW program requirements.
Lottery Information
How the lottery works
If more students apply than seats are available, CBA will conduct a public weighted lottery. Students qualifying under CBA's approved weighted lottery policy will receive additional lottery preference consistent with North Carolina law and NC GROW requirements. The lottery remains random, transparent, and open to public observation.
